Zaytuna Institute strives to establish affordable and fair student fees that reflect the quality of programs offered and adequately cover administration expenses. Please note that for Summer 2008, tuition and housing fees for the Summer Arabic Intensive are combined to reflect one total packaged program cost. Included in the program cost are tuition for core Arabic courses, textbooks, and housing for the duration of the summer program. Supplementary courses are available at an additional cost (to be announced).
Summer 2008 Program Fees
Program fees vary according to type of room a student lives in (Quad, Triple, or Double). Students are asked to rank their preferences on the Application for Admission and program fees will be assessed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Below are the three available options for program fees:
OPTION A:
Quad Room (4 occupants)
Total Program Cost: $4500 (includes tuition, textbooks, and housing for duration of program)
OPTION B:
Triple Room (3 occupants)
Total Program Cost: $4700 (includes tuition, textbooks, and housing for duration of program)
OPTION C:
Double Room (2 occupants)
Total Program Cost: $4900 (includes tuition, textbooks, and housing for duration of program)
OPTION D:
Tuition Only (Housing not included)
Total Program Cost: $3000
(includes tuition and textbooks)
Payment Procedure
Please read carefully:
Step 1:
Submit your application with a $50 refundable application fee (check, money order, or cashier’s check payable to Zaytuna Institute, or credit card payment accepted). If accepted into the program, this amount will count towards your total program cost. In the case of denial of admission, your application fee payment will be refunded.
Step 2:
After receiving your application, a Zaytuna Summer Arabic Intensive academic committee will review your application and you will be informed of your status with the summer program via email within one week (acceptance, denial, or placement on the waiting-list). Upon receiving notice of acceptance, applicants have two weeks to make the first program fee payment of $2000.00 to secure their seat in the program (check payable to Zaytuna Institute, money order, cashier’s check, or credit card payment accepted).
PLEASE NOTE: Payments received after May 1, 2008 will be subject to a $300 late registration fee.
Step 3:
The remaining fee balance must be paid in full by June 1, 2008.

Refund Policy
The Zaytuna Summer Arabic Intensive program draws strength from the commitment, consistency, and dedication of its students. In order to prevent last-minute cancellations, to maximize space for as many applicants as possible, and to adequately cover administrative expenses, the program has adopted the following strict refund policy:
Payments are 100 percent refundable until June 1, 2008.
PLEASE NOTE: After June 1, 2008, cancellations are subject to a $1500 penalty. Absent a verifiable emergency, NO REFUNDS ARE TO BE ISSUED AFTER JULY 1, 2008.
